چکیده
A Banach space theoretical characterization of abelian C ∗ C^* - algebras among all -algebras is given. As an application, it shown that if A"> A encoding="application/x-tex">A and B"> B encoding="application/x-tex">B are (nonlinearly) isomorphic to each other with respect the structure Birkhoff-James orthogonality, either or abelian, then they alttext="asterisk"> encoding="application/x-tex">* -isomorphic. Moreover, pointed out same kind not valid for preduals von Neumann algebras.
